Covet Living { the blog }

Childhood friends Stephanie Ballard and Karrie Kuruzar are the Editors behind Covet Living.  Now in their 30’s and still thicker than thieves, Covet Living is the lifestyle blog where Stephanie – a bubbly Interior Designer with spot-on taste, and Karrie, a TV Producer with a quick wit – muse about everything from decor to food to (*cough* – the Bachelor) to travel to living life to the fullest.  Covet Living has been touted by former House Beautiful Editor-in-Chief Newell Turner as “fresh, fun and original,” and is beloved by many for its candor, aesthetic, upbeat hilarity and down-to-earth, accessible feel.  

Since 2010, Covet Living has been a place where readers have come not only seeking a respite and a good laugh, but also bespoke design inspiration and advice on everything from paint colors to how to mix & match fabric patterns.  When Stephanie was ready to open the doors to her design firm, the name "Covet Living Interiors" seemed the only natural choice; the same undercurrent of joy, positivity and that "come on in, take your shoes off and sit by me" feeling that is ever-present in each blog post is woven into the fabric of who Stephanie inherently is as a person and a designer, and how she wants her clients to feel throughout the process.
